We ship orders using LTL Freight Carrier Services, selected based on:

  • Customer location
  • Residential or commercial delivery
  • Size and weight of the item
  • Carrier availability in your region

All engines, transmissions, and large automotive components are securely packaged to ensure safe handling during transport.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates vary depending on:

  • Delivery location
  • Freight carrier costs
  • Residential vs. commercial address
  • Type and weight of the product ordered

All rates are calculated at checkout or provided upon request.

Processing Time

Orders are processed in the order they are received. Standard processing and handling times apply unless otherwise communicated.

International Orders

For international shipments, customers must submit an inquiry for an accurate quote.
 Once confirmed, most international orders ship within 3 business days.

  • United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Alaska
  • Inquire within for international shipments

Please note that shipping availability may vary based on item type and carrier limitations.

International Taxes, Duties & Fees

For all international shipments:

  • The customer is responsible for all duties, customs fees, import taxes, and government charges associated with receiving their order.
  • Japan Engines Direct does not collect or prepay international tax obligations.

Lost or Missing Packages

We are not responsible for lost or missing packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.

Please verify your address carefully before completing checkout.

Damaged Shipments

Customers must inspect products at the time of delivery before signing or accepting the item.
 No exceptions.

In the event of damage:

  1. Do not accept the shipment.
  2. Notify the carrier immediately.
  3. Contact Japan Engines Direct with photos and details.

All shipping damage claims require time for carrier inspection and processing.

Japan Engines Direct reserves the right to replace, exchange, repair, or credit the product based on the carrier’s final decision.

Address Changes After Checkout

To prevent fraud, customers cannot change the delivery address after completing checkout.
